Thinking is a crime: the fearless thought police in September 2010. Zunar and lawyer Latheefa Koya wait as tough guy A Arikrishnan inspects Zunar's book looking for an excuse to ban it.

Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police must be one tough guy, single-handedly bringing down the hardened criminal known as the cartoonist Zunar in 2010.

This week the brave and heroic policeman must have gained himself a couple of extra promotion points with High Court testimoney against the hardened criminal Zunar. He provided further reason for Malaysians to harbour grave doubts about the professionalism and neutrality of the taxpayer-funded police force and the taxpayer-funded federal government. Don’t joke. That’s seditious.

To be fair, the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police seems to have given a solid performance as a stout defender of the egos of ruling party politicians or wives thereof, and as a firm believer that people who think are dangerous and people who poke fun of those in high places are even more dangerous.

The brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police will go far. How far has already been shown by his brave and heroic action against the hardened criminal Zunar who uses lethal weapons such as pens, brushes, ink and cardboard.

As everyone now realises, the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police single-handedly thwarted an armed rebellion of Malaysians laughing at the super-rich Umno-BN ruling class. He arrested the chief instigator, the hardened criminal Zunar, and gave him a tour of seven police stations all around KL.

Such brave and heroic policemen willing to get their hands dirty for the greater good of the rich and powerful will earn rewards. Especially if they can stop people from laughing at them.

So, enter the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police to testify in court against the dangerous and hardened criminal Zunar, who seeks damages from the police and government for wrongful arrest.

The brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police said he found “every page” of Zunar’s book Cartoon-o-Phobia to be seditious.

The alleged book. The heroic police seized 66 copies of the alleged book in a daring raid in September 2010.

Such drawings would provoke “hatred of the government” among the people, according to the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police, protector of the unwary and the humourless.

Also to protect the government from such armed and dangerous “hatred” and to stave off an armed rebellion by hordes of laughing Malaysians, he seized 66 copies of Zunar’s book as well as a piece of cardboard containing masses of hair.

I had gone to 10 barber shops to gather hair to depict Rosmah’s hairstyle. The collage was to represent how powerful (she is) in running the country with Najib as PM. Artwork should not be bent or rolled up. Now, all the material has been damaged, lost or confiscated. the hardened criminal Zunar in court on Thursday when the collage was produced in court by the police, the first time it had been seen since being seized more than 15 months ago.

No doubt a seasoned police officer like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police would have known that books and a piece of cardboard containing masses of hair are real weapons of mass destruction, and that hordes of laughing people would turn out in the streets to wage armed rebellion using water bottles, umbrellas, cameraphones and yellow T-shirts.

The public must applaud the heroism and prompt action of the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police for his daring and heroic act of arresting the cartoonist Zunar, a very dangerous criminal armed with pens, brushes, ink, cardboard and masses of hair clippings.

The public must support the brave and heroic police force, especially the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police for undertaking such dangerous missions.

The best way to show support is by shouting SHADDUP at anyone who says that the words “feelings of hatred towards the government” is an excuse used by Umno-BN politicians and stooges to bully citizens who refuse to worship the super rich ruling class. Would citizens do such a thing? Are you joking? Don’t joke, that’s seditious.

Framed by bloggers and media

Bloggers and mass media framed blogger Hanief

Warriors like the aforementioned brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police are much needed to protect the innocent and ignorant Malaysian public. Who else would undertake such dangerous tasks at such great risk, to apprehend the hardened criminal Zunar, and seize dangerous weapons such as cartoon books and a piece of cardboard?

It was strange indeed that the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan did not say that parangs were also found among the books. We will await his further testimony. Perhaps he may yet remember to find some. It is standard procedure for parangs to be found. Perhaps it slipped his mind. The brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police has many dangerous tasks to do, such as seizing books and a piece of cardboard.

Of course many people, minions of the ruling class, do believe that poking fun of politicians and the ruling class is a sin punishable by law if not cultural death (and if there is no such law they will make one up). Many of these functionaries owe their living to snuffing out such crimes as making funny drawings or funny articles, and keep watch on people armed with dangerous weapons like pens, brushes, ink, and cardboard, or typewriters.

It’s tough work defending the freedom of the ruling class from such hardened criminals who long for a time when Malaysians can trust their government institutions, their police and military, their courts, their banks, their stock market, their transport and motor industry, their housing and construction business, their plantations, and their mass media (to name a few minor areas of daily life).

Some misguided people are under the delusion that the federal government belongs to them, the people. These misguided people are unable to accept, as right-thinking people do, that the aforementioned areas of daily life are all, or should be, fully-owned subsidiaries of Umno Incorporated.

Never fear. Brave and heroic policemen like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police will protect the public from such dangerous thoughts provoked by hardened criminals such as the aforementioned Zunar, definitely a tough cookie with an attitude problem.

It is because of brave and heroic policemen like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police that so many of the rich and powerful can sleep in peace every night, without worries of hordes of people waging armed rebellion on the streets, armed with water bottles, umbrellas, books, cameraphones and yellow T-shirts.

The brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnavdn of the Brickfields police testified in court that he found almost every page of Zunar’s cartoon book Cartoon-o-phobia to be “seditious”. (» MalaysiaKini) Apparently he was quite serious. Don’t joke, that’s seditious.

The hardened criminal Zunar said that the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan had difficulty in locating the cartoons which were causing the most problems. Is the hardened criminal Zunar trying to suggest that the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan does not know how to read? Or has not seen a dangerous cartoon before? What an insult. No such thing. The br

dangerous thought removed to protect the brave and heroic

In some less civilised countries “sedition” means calling for armed insurrection. In more enlightened Malaysia, policemen like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police and his superior officers believe that a civilian armed with pen and ink will bring about an armed rebellion of Malaysians laughing at politicians, their wives (and also at armed policemen). That is, of course, terribly dangerous.

“I found each page containing cartoons referring to the country’s ickleaders, the police, the judiciary, the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and others … these were seditious,” he said. “It could have created hatred, misunderstanding, confusion and loss of trust in the various parties referred to. There were bad intentions to create misunderstanding between those of various races and religions.”

Terrible indeed. And how does a grown up man, after years of schooling and training, talk and behave like a jackass? He joins the police, or becomes an Umno-BN politician. Or he acts as both while wearing a police uniform.

But give the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan credit where credit is due. He has shown a knack of doing political work while posing as a police officer. He will go far. Who knows, he could be Malaysia’s first black IGP. Or the first black prime minister. A man who can see evil where others can only see a joke must be taken seriously. No joking, that’s seditious.

“Mahathir is depicted as a dictator, Abdullah is shown as not knowing about state affairs and the Najib administration is painted as one in which the judiciary, media and police are similar to those in Zimbabwe,” he said. Another cartoon showed the judiciary to be under the prime minister’s control. Three other cartoons “could affect religious and racial sensitivities”.

Some people say: so what? Who cares if Mahathir is called a dictator? People have used worse names on that Kaka s.o.b., that opportunistic racist and a pathetic travesty of a statesman ever willing to champion those who are can loot the country and look virtuous.

People who cast such aspersions on Mahathir, the Father of Malaysia Mukhriz, are very dangerous. Luckily heroic and brave men like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police will protect Malaysians from such stupidity. (Brickfields is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MRCB Bhd, a unit of diversified conglomerate Umno Incorporated.)

A pathetic joke (seated left)

The police came in the middle of the night to harass a blogger over this pathetic joke (seated left).

And some will say: so what if people laughed at Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and jokes about Sleepy Head? That’s not sedition; that’s satire.

Such people are very dangerous. Luckily the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police will serve, protect and defend the rich and powerful Malaysian public. You’re not rich and powerful? Too bad. No joke, joking is seditious.

Some will say: so what if people laugh at the 1Najib for being under the thumb of the 1Rosmah? That’s not sedition, that’s a painful political joke.

Luckily there are brave and heroic police, like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of Brickfields (a wholly-owned subsidiary of MRCB Berhad, a unit of diversified conglomerate Umno Incorporated). He will protect Malaysians from such dangerous thoughts which will result in masses of people coming out on the streets to wage armed rebellion using water bottles, umbrellas, cameraphones, books and yellow T-shirts and jokes. No joke, that’s seditious.

The Malaysian public must be protected from dangerous people who say there is something desperately pathetic about a country craving world recognition but where a policeman can say with a straight face that cracking political jokes will result in the people rising up in armed insurrection.

But the brave and heroic police, like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of Brickfields will protect weak Malaysians from seeing the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth as told by brave and heroic policemen.

What is Mahathir afraid of? Being found out

Some people will say that satire is not a joking matter. Some people believe such jokes contain some truth. Some people believe that politicians and their stooges (such as dirty policemen) fear being found out and being made to pay the penalty for robbing the people of their liberties and their wealth.

Never fear. The brave and heroic police like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishann of Brickfields will make sure that all rich and powerful can sleep soundly and not fear hordes of people waging armed rebellion on the streets, using water bottles, umbrellas, cameraphones, books, yellow T-shirts and jokes. No joke, that’s seditious.

Anyone who foolishly believes and writes that the Malaysian system has been corrupted by dirty politicians, that the police force sold out their professionalism and integrity a long time ago, or that politicians and policemen cover their mutual arses for mutual advantage and benefit, will feel the wrath of the brave and heroic police like the brave and heroic A Arikrishnan of Brickfields, storming to the rescue by seizing books and a piece of cardboard and restoring public order and tranquillity.

Don’t joke. That’s seditious.

The brave and heroic police, like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of Brickfields, will be proud to show off the recently-invented Facebook page and myriad postings as examples of the police are on the ball, fighting hardened criminals who believe that policemen worship false gods at the altar of the Umno-BN regime and speak like they work for the Umno propaganda bureau. Never fear, the brave and heroic Assistant A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police is ever at hand. That’s professional police work, they will say. Are you kidding? No jokes, that’s seditious.

Does MIC actually mean Mandores In Collusion?
Or does it mean Millions In Commissions?

When the brave and heroic Assistant Superintent A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields polcie said he seized a cartoon collage showing Rosman Mansor and S Samy Vellu, did he inadvertently revealed the cause of the armed rebellion that was about to break out among people who had read Zunar’s cartoons?

Many people believe the 1Rosmah to be the root of many current problems. Some believe that S Samy Vellu is the identity of a thug who has been doing dirty work for the Mahathir Mohamed government.

People who have such toughts must be dangerous criminals. The brave and heroic police, like the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan of Brickfields, will save the day.

(By the way, do the initials MIC stand for “Mandores In Collusion”? Or perhaps “Millions In Commissions”? Was the brave and heroic Assistant A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police behaving like a small mandore carrying out orders of bigger mandores, much like the MIC?)

Are you kidding? That’s sedition. You think it’s a joke?

Since the police force is very concerned about improving its “image”, and every sign shows that the force is a house divided, there is little to show they are willing or able to handle the corruption caused by a Umno-BN regime that subverts the system for profit and advantage.

So instead let’s cheer the brave and heroic Assistant A Arikrishnan of the Brickfields police for getting to the root of the problem and arresting the dangerous criminal Zunar whose pen, brush, books and a piece of cardboard are obviously weapons of mass hatred, capable of great destruction and bringing about an armed rebellion.

Will public cynicism about the police force now end? Will the cynicism and political opportunism of the police force, as revealed by the testimony of the brave and heroic Assistant Superintendent A Arikrishnan, now quell the masses and put down their armed rebellion? Are you kidding? No jokes, that’s sedition.

There can only be one valid response to such questions, in the time-honoured manner. Ptuuii!

Sedition? You must be joking.

Joke if you must. Make fun of people if that make you happy. Who bloody cares? When you have no regards towards another man’s feelings, nobody should care about yours then. But in all honesty, let’s be fair. Criticize both parties. Stay impartial. Be neutral as much as you can. Take the middle road. You can’t go wrong with that!!

Dear ZZ the only place you can find “neutral” is on a gearshift. Human beings are not neutral, they have feelings and they have opinions. Nobody should be neutral about injustice. This country and the police force have inflicted an injustice to Zunar and to the blogger Hanief. And to thousands of other nameless and ordinary people whose stories are never told. Never be neutral about injustice. Never be neutral about people whose job allows them to inflict pain and misery and injustice.

This is a blog. This is not the high court. Impartiality is not required here. But impartiality is required there. Do you find much impartiality there?
