GEORGE TOWN (May 31, 2012): Journalists from Utusan Malaysia and New Straits Times (NST) were barred from covering enforcement operations and press conferences organised by the Health Office and municipal council in Batu Feringghi this morning. The council’s public health committee chairman, Ong Ah Teong, apologised that a press conference could not begin if journalists from the two newspapers were present. NST journalist Predeep Nambiar told Bernama later he was given the cold shoulder when he tried to shake Ong’s hand. He said Ong informed him that the state government had sent a circular, barring NST and Utusan journalists from covering the council’s programmes. – Bernama

In fact, every Pakatan-ruled state should bar Umno petition writers who masquerade as journalists in NST, Berita Harian and Utusan from covering any function.

Sorry both of these Umno’s cronies and lackeys are unable to turn and twist the function.
What is the feeling of being barred from the occasion for a change ?
