Kuala Lumpur police seek these 11 unidentified people to help with investigations into attacks on reporters and photographers at a public rally in the capital on May 1. Anyone who can identify any of the 11 is urged to come forward, Malaysiakini reports.
A group of about 20 to 30 people clad in black made threats against media staff, and attacked sever, towards the end of the peaceful rally to protest against the Goods & Services Tax. Two police reports were lodged. Staff of Focus Malaysia, Malaysian Reserve and Oriental Daily News were injured in the attacks, a Xin Hua videographer was kicked, and another photographer hit by a flagpole hurled by another youth.
