NYT, WSJ give free news for Election Day

The New York Times and the Wall Street Journal will both provide free access to their web sites for 24 hours for the US presidential election starting at 5am (WSJ) and 6am (NYT) Malaysian time tomorrow.

Last week the NYT dropped its paywall for five days to provide access to coverage of the superstorm that hit the eastern coastline. The paper ended free access in March last year, with casual visitors limited to 20 articles a month. The Wall Street Journal is only available by subscription, except for certain sections.
