Non-Malay journalists barred from Dr M’s talk

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 1 — Organisers of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s talk told news editors today to only send Malay reporters and television crew to cover the event.
Majlis Bekas Wakil Rakyat Malaysia held a discourse entitled “Malay race and the future” at the Tun Hussein Onn Memorial here.
An Indian reporter from the news portal Malaysiakini was barred from entering the hall and later was also barred from the press conference.
A representative from the organising committee told reporters that Dr Mahathir (picture) had said that he did not want the news portal to cover the talk.
However, an aide to the former prime minister denied such an order was given and said the allegation was ludicrous.
When the representative was confronted again, he said he had “received orders from the top”.
“We received orders from the top. We didn’t want any controversy from the event,” he said.
When pressed if the reporter was barred because of her race, the representative just walked away and refused to comment.

When he was PM he used to give pep talks to various GLCs. The Non Malays in the GLCs concerned were usually told, according to the programme circulated to them to come 1 1/2 late ie after the coffee break. So your news is not exactly earth shaking. But thanks for reporting it.

He is now obviously worried of the report that billions of ringgits were illegally sent abroad during his time as P.M.. Most of all he is concerned that it will, without a doubt, reveal the billions that were sent by him or on his behalf to be hidden away.
I have always maintained that yearly without failed he will go on transit to London to audit his investments. And he will continue to do so as long as he lives and that is the only reason why his son jumps to discourage further investigation into the report. It will not be investigated further as long as the present regime is running the government. If it does it will open a can full of worms that the prisons of Malaysia will not be enough to house all those involved. Now all Malaysians, especially the Malays, know why the 30% meant for the Malays were never achieved
according to shenanigan Mahathir in his 22 years as P.M. ! May be he has never considered himself or his family as true Malays and thus it is true that the 30% was not achieved but was only taken by him, his family, his cronies and his proxies. Just like Marcos who was proven to have stolen billions of dollars during his life time as President of Philippines denied he did. And just like Marcos he too will die in exile
and if he was buried in Malaysia many Malaysians will find a way not only to vomit onto his grave but to shit onto it as well. It is a promise !

Rosemajib of course does nothing by halves; he’s spent over $100 million of Taxpayers’ on 1Israel Apco so he could go kiss Obama’s ass in the same White House.
And you can be damn sure the order to bar non-Malay and Mkini journalists came from Firaun himself! He’s racism is now shooting out like water from a sieve.

malaysian political leaders from BN are always provoking malaysians to quarrel over differences in religion, differences in cultures etc .this is to distract us from the many economic n social issues facing this nation. while we are quarrelling, China , India < vietnam , Indonesian thailand are all taking away our FDI n surpassing Malaysia in all fields, Malaysians are now suffering from the effects of high inflation n skyrocketing prices n making a living in kl is tough. the poor are suffering but who cares as the leaders all pursue their own agenda, this is malaysia in 2011 – a legacy of years of corruption n mismanagement
